Gorey Walk, Talk and Taste with The Moorings
Join Tall Tales Tours and The Moorings for a special evening exploring one of the most beautiful and storied corners of Jersey.
Beginning at The Moorings, guests will be guided on a relaxed coastal walk through the history, heritage and flavours of Jersey’s beloved east coast — from strategic defence and ancient landmarks to food cultivation, fishing and local produce.
Along the way, we’ll pause at a series of scenic stops, each paired with thoughtfully chosen seasonal tastings that celebrate the island’s rich culinary heritage.
The evening finishes back at The Moorings, where guests will enjoy oysters, drinks and dinner in the Dining Room as the stories continue.
Event Schedule
5.00-5.30pm – Arrival and welcome at The Moorings
5.30pm – Walk begins with a tasting of Jersey Bean Crock and Jersey cider
6.00pm – Jersey Royals with mint and butter, served with Jersey cider at Faldouet Dolmen
7.00pm – Return to The Moorings for Royal Bay Jersey oysters with Crémant or Jersey cider, before heading inside for dinner in the Dining Room
